Light industry heads the list of recipients of preferential loans

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Viktor Evtukhov told about the current situation of the Russian light industry and its prospects in an interview with channel "Russia 24". Mr. Evtukhov noted the positive role of Industrial Development Fund (IDF) in modernization of light industry fixed assets. Light Industry is in the first place among industries for the amount of Preferential loans received from IDF. Now modernization of Verkhnevolzhsky and Vyazemsky tanneries is going on. "Russkaya Kozha" group is building a tannery in the Altai region. As the major problems hindering the development of light industry Mr. Evtukhov called expensive loans and a high level of collateral discounting. Production of goods made of artificial materials was called a promising directions of Russian light industry development.
