Export of wet blue is temporarily prohibited

 For a period of six months the government of the Russian Federation imposes a temporary ban on the export of leather semi-finished product (wet-blue) from the Russian Federation.

 Government Decree of February 27, 2019 No. 194 determined that from March 1, 2019 to September 1, 2019, a temporary ban is imposed on the export of semi-finished leather classified by EAEC HS codes 4104 11 and 4104 19 from the Russian Federation.

 These goods are classified as goods that are essential for the domestic market of the Russian Federation for which, in exceptional cases, temporary restrictions or prohibitions on exports may be imposed.
