Raw hides and skins

The "Raw Hides and Skins" section of RLN marketplace is for raw (unprocessed) hides and skins, which are used in leather production. Such as cattle hides, skins of sheep or goat, horse hides, pigskins and other types of raw hides and skins. Hide and skin procurers, wholesale traders, tanneries, abattoirs and meat processing plants, firms engaged in raw hides’ import or export are supposed to use this section of the RLN Marketplace. Raw hides and skins, as a rule, are wet-salted, dry-salted or brine cured or otherwise preserved prior to selling. Notwithstanding freezing as a conservation method is not recommended, it is still used in Russia and other northern countries.
