Russia introduced a ban on export of wet-blue

The Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation from 12.07.2016 No. 665 introduced a temporary ban on crust leather export (Customs commodity codes of Eurasian Economic Union 4104 11 and 4104 19 - tanned leather made of cattle hides (including buffalo) or equines with grain, splitted or not splited) since 18 July 2016 for a period of 6 months. The decision was made at the initiative of the Russian Union of Tanners and Shoemakers with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
