French luxury and fashion sector will recruit 10,000 people a year

French luxury and fashion groups have stated that they need to attract 10,000 people each year to technical positions in their supply chains, "in order to remain competitive and creative and maintain the excellence of French craftsmanship."

To help promote handicraft roles in sectors such as leather, leather goods and footwear, the luxury and fashion industry has launched a large-scale recruitment campaign.

It will be aimed at making school graduates, graduates, professionals seeking a career change, and other job seekers interested in working in the industry.

There will be a promotional film, a special website, testimonies of people already employed in workshops in fashion and luxury companies, and a message board.

The campaign will be called "Savoir Pour Faire", which means "Knowing for doing."
